Tech Men’s Basketball 2nd in Frontier Preseason Poll

The Frontier Conference released the 2022-23 Men’s Basketball Preseason Coaches’ Poll today. Montana Tech was voted second and received two first place votes by the league’s coaches.

Carroll College received the most votes and four first place votes in the poll. The Orediggers received just two points less than the Saints in the overall votes. The Orediggers and the Saints were regular season Frontier Conference Co-Champions. Tech defeated Carroll for the Frontier Conference Tournament title. Montana Western was voted third followed by MSU-Northern. Rocky Mountain and the University of Providence tied for fifth.

Votes were five points for first, four points for second, three points for third, two points for fourth and one point for fifth. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
