The win completed the two-game weekend sweep of the Battlin’ Bears.
Sindou Diallo scored 13 points in the win, that saw Markieth Brown Jr. tossed in 11 and Darrius Collins score 10. Cody Baumstrack added eight points and 11 rebounds for the Orediggers, who outscored Rocky 40-34 after leading 30-28 at the half.
Nate Ward Jr. scored five passes and dropped six assists, while Cody Liles scored four points and Drew Huse tossed in three.
Maxim Stephans scored 19 points and grabbed 13 boards to lead the Bears. Tayshawun Bradford scored 13, and Sam Vining netted 10.
At 11-7 in conference and 11-9 overall, the Orediggers enter the final week of the regular season just behind Carroll College (11-5) for the No. 2 seed in the conference playoffs. Tech will play host to MSU-Northern (5-10) next Saturday and Sunday at the HPER Complex.
