Tech closes regular season with five-set road win

LEWISTON, Idaho — The Montana Tech volleyball team closed out the regular season with a 25-21, 23-25, 25-22, 18-25, 15-11 Frontier Conference victory over Lewis-Clark State College Friday night.

The win sends the Orediggers into next week’s Frontier Conference tournament at the HPER Complex with a 16-14 overall record. Tech finished league play at 8-4.

Masha Korol tallied a season-high 26 kills to lead the Orediggers. She hit .407 and added 14 digs in the win. Karina Mickelson added 11 kills, and Sabrina Hopcroft collected 21 digs.
