Tech, Carroll set to host Big Sky Volleyball Challenge

Montana Tech will host the second annual Big Sky Volleyball Challenge Thursday through Saturday on the Kelvin Sampson Court at the HPER Complex.

Carroll College is the co-host for the event. The Saints host 12 matches Friday and Saturday while Tech hosts 14 matches during the three days.

The Orediggers have five matches scheduled. They open the tournament on Thursday at 3 p.m. against Pacific Union College. On Friday, Tech faces Dickinson State at 9 a.m. and Hope International at 7 p.m. The final two matches on Saturday are against The College of Idaho at 11 a.m. and (RV) The Master’s College at 7 p.m.

The tournament also features Frontier Conference schools Rocky Mountain College in Butte, and the University of Great Falls and Montana State Northern are playing all of their matches in Helena.

Day passes are available at the tournament for $10 each day. Montana Tech students receive free admission. All matches will be streamed on YouTube on the MontanaTechAthletics channel.
