SWMJGT titles decided Monday at Old Works

The 2014 South West Montana Junior Golf Tour will stop one last time Monday.

Anaconda’s Old Works will be the scene for The Old Works Championship, the eighth stop of the tour.

Medals will be awarded to the top three placers in each division. The tournament will also determine the season championships for each division. Tee times begin at 8 a.m. on the course that Jack Nicklaus built.

Butte golfer Will Kilmer enters the season finale leading the Tiger Woods Division (boys 16-17). Houston Green of Butte leads the Rory McIlroy Division (boys 14-15), while Whitehall golfer Max Feight tops the Phil Mickelson Division (boys 12-13).

On the girls’ side, Hailey Ogolin narrowly leads her Butte High teammate Shealyn Hafer in the Suzann Pettersen Division (16-17). In the other girls age group, Alexis Williams holds a slim lead over fellow Butte golfer Tricia Joyce in the Stacy Lewis Division (14-15).

Monday’s tournament will be followed by an awards banquet.
