Following is a round up of Butte High’s subvarsity games against Bozeman Gallatin Saturday at the Ross J. Richardson Memorial Gymnasium.
Including the 54-39 varsity win, Butte High’s teams went 2-2 on the day. The Bulldogs will travel to Belgrade Friday to take on the Panthers.
Butte High Freshmen 45, Gallatin Freshmen 28
The Bulldogs opened the season on a high note, outscoring the Raptors 11-3 in the first quarter on their way to victory.
Dylan Bartoletti scored nine points to lead a balanced Bulldog attack in the win. Ashlinn Mullaney scored eight points, while Murphy Sullivan, Gracie Ferriter and Chelsi Lyons each scored six.
Bulldog coaches said Sullivan and Shelbie Byrnes were awesome on the offensive and defensive boards, and Lyons was a “complete bulldog” on defense.
Erynn Everson’s 12 points paced Gallatin.

Zoe Mondragourus and Taylor Speake both tossed in eight points to pace Gallatin in the win.
Brityn Stewart scored 11, and Ashby Lee netted 10 to lead Butte High. Kandel Kovnesky stood out on defense for the Bulldogs, drawing a pair of charges.

Elli Nye scored 10 points, and Sienna Olech added 10 as the Raptors knocked off the Bulldogs.
Taylor Bushman’s five points paced Butte High. Kiahna Wetzel scored four, and Rian Ferriter, Olivia Spear, Brooke Groesbeck and Sonya Trudnowski each scored two.
Groesbeck was also singled out for her rebounding on both ends of the floor.
