Starr was one of four players to reach double figures scoring for the Argos, who broke open a game that was tied at 39 at halftime with a 50-37 second half.
Jaxen Hashley scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for Providence (8-6 17-8). Brandon Cotton added 12 points, and Jalen Shephard scored 10.
Troy Owens Jr. scored 21 points to lead the Orediggers (5-9, 15-11). Taylor England scored 11 points, while Dylan Pannabecker tossed in 10, and Blake Dittman and Derrius Cullons each scored nine.
The Orediggers play at Montana Western on Thursday. They play host to Lewis-Clark State College on Saturday.
