The Butte High Bulldogs Kicking Camp will be held July 29 at Naranche Stadium. The camp is open to boys and girls entering kindergarten through ninth grade, and it will run from 2 to 5 p.m. Cost is $20, and it includes a camp T-shirt. Campers will learn how o kick, punt and throw from Casey Kautzman, a recent Butte High grade who will kick at Montana State after rewriting Butte High’s kicking record book. It will include players and coaches from Butte High as well as players from Montana State and Montana. Registrations will be accepted at the start of camp. The Butte Central Maroons Football Program has scheduled its 2022 summer football camp for July 25-28. The camp, which is open to second through 12th graders, will be held on Torger Oaas Maroon Field at the Maroon Activities Center.
The session for boys entering the second through sixth graders grades will be held each day from 10-11:30 a.m. The cost for boys in this age group is $32.
The session for boys entering the seventh through 12th grades will be held each day from 5:30-8 p.m. The cost for boys in this age group will be $50. There is a reduced fee of $23 for each additional camper, from the same family.
The camp will be staffed by the Butte Central Football Coaching Staff. The camp will feature football skill development and fun! All campers will receive an official 2022 Maroon Football T-shirt. The Second Annual Speed and Agility Camp with Clay McQueary will be held Tuesdays and Wednesday from June 14 through July 27 at The Pit Fitness. McQueary is a former standout football player at Butte Central and Montana Tech. The camp is for athletes 7 through 13. Click here for more information.
Recreate Fitness Speed and Agility Camp will hold to sessions this summer. The camp, which is for boys and girls entering fourth through eighth grade, will be coached by former Butte High football, wrestling and strength coach Josh Stearns and former Montana Western running back Sean Cooney. The second session starts July 19. Each session will run for 5 weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Recreate Climbing and Fitness located at 1101 Utah Avenue. Recreate Fun Fit Kids begins Monday, July 11 and runs for four weeks. The camp runs from 2 to 2:50 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday at Recreate Climbing and Fitness located at 1101 Utah Ave. Your children will work on rope climbs, monkey bars and rings, and other fun fitness challenges. Kids need physical activity to build strength, coordination, confidence and to lay the groundwork for a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to provide structured physical activity programs to build the foundation to help them achieve a healthy, active life.
