The Southwest Montana Baseball Camp will be held Monday, July 10 at Miners Field at 3 Legends Stadium. Miami Marlins scout Ryan Warndisky will conduct the camp along with Butte Miners coach Jeff LeProwse and Belgrade coach Johnny Graham. The camp is for players age 8 through 18, and cost is $60. The Butte High girls’ basketball camp will be held July 10-12 at the Butte High Gym. The camp is for players entering third through 12th grade next school year. Camp for girls third through sixth grade will run from 10 a.m. to noon each day. Camp for seventh through 12th grade will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $50 for the younger players and $75 for the older players. Registration is the first day of camp from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The annual Champions Football Camp for boys entering second through 12th grades will be held July 24-27 in Butte. The camp, which is sponsored by the Butte Central football program, will be held on Torger Oaas Maroon Field at the Maroon Activities Center. The camp will be staffed by the Butte Central Coaches and several former Maroon players, who are now in college programs.
The camp will be held Monday through Thursday. The camp sessions for second through sixth graders will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Camp sessions for seventh through 12th graders will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The camp will focus on fundamentals by position, team development and fun. The cost for second through sixth graders will be $37. It will cost $50 for seventh through 12th graders. A special price of $23 will be offered for each additional camper from the same family.

The Mile High Wrestling Camp will run July 26-28 at the Butte High wrestling room. The camp will be run by the Bulldog coaching staff. It will also feature Byron Hallock of Glasgow and 2017 Butte Sports Hall of Fame inductee Mark Johnston. The camp is open to wrestlers age 5 through seniors in high school. Wrestlers 5-8 go from 8:30 to 10 a.m. each day of the camp. The older wrestlers go from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Cost is $30, and family rates are available. Registration form
Summer Swimming Lessons will be held at the Butte Family YMCA. Sessions run July 10-20, July 25-Aug. 3 and Aug. 7-17. Times are 9, 9:45 and 10:45 a.m. and 4:30 and 5:15 p.m. Saturday lessons are also available. Call the YMCA at 782-1266 for more information or stop in to register.
Tennis Camps will be held for youth and adult players this summer at Father Sheehan Park. Camps will run July 10-13 and August 7-19. Butte Sports Hall of Famer Kellie Johnson will be offering individual basketball lessons July 11-13. Johnson was a star basketball player at Butte Central, where she scored 2,098 points for the Maroons. She went on to a stellar career at Illinois State. She has coached for 14 years at the NCAA Division I, NAIA and Junior College levels.

The Mining City FC/Butte Soccer Club Camp will run July 10 to Aug. 9 at the Jeremy Bullock Memorial Soccer Complex. The camp is for players entering first through eighth grades. It will run Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Practice will be Monday and Wednesday, and Friday will be game night.
First and second grades go from 5 to 5:45 each night, and the cost is $50. Campers third through fifth grade go from 6 to 7:15, and cost is $60. Butte High’s 12th Annual Mile High Soccer Camp will be held July 24-27 at the Jeremy Bullock Memorial Soccer Complex. The camp, which will be run by Butte High boys coach Eric Zahler and his assistant Riley McNabb, is for boys and girls entering kindergarten through 12th grades.
