406 Academy
The 406 Academy will host basketball skills sessions on Monday nights at the Whittier Elementary School in Butte. A session for kindergarteners through sixth grade will run for 5 to 6:15 p.m. A session for seventh grade and up will be held from 6:15 to 7:30. The cost is $25 to drop in or $80 for a calendar month pass. The first visit is complimentary. For more information, visit 406academy.com.
Quinn Peoples
The Southwest Montana Basketball Academy is back this summer at the Maroon Activities Center. Quinn Peoples, a member of the 2011 Butte Central state championship team and an assistant coach on the 2016 title team, will again conduct the academy. Peoples was a four-year starter at an NCAA Division II basketball program. More information
Butte High soccer
The Mile High Soccer Camp will be held July 25-28 at the Jeremy Bullock Memorial Soccer Complex. The camp, which is conducted by the Butte High boys’ and girls’ coaching staffs, is for boys and girls entering kindergarten through 12th grade next fall. Cost for kindergarten through second grade is $55 per camper. Cost for third through sixth grade is $65, while seventh through 12th is $75. Family rates are available. Registration form
Butte Soccer Club
The Butte Soccer Club Summer Program will run July 5-Aug. 11. The program is for players entering first through eighth grade. Streetball for third through eighth graders will go from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, grades one and two will go from 5 to 5:45 p.m., while Grades three through five will go from 6 to 7 p.m. and grades six through eight will go from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Cost ranges from $60 to $75.
