The Southern Oregon Spartans got third-period goals from William Brunnberg and Chris Seto as the Cobras spoiled the Butte Cobras’ home opener with a 5-3 win Thursday night at the Butte Community Ice Center. Stats

Seto registered a hat trick on the night. Cameron Seto also scored a goal in the win.

Niklas Vornanen, Jan Marcilis and Petr Panacek scored goals for the home team. Vaclay Beran assisted on two goals, while Panacek, Artsiom Puntus, Joel Johnson and Dominik Hula assisted on goals for Butte.

The Cobras and Spartans will play again Friday and Saturday night. The puck drops at 7 for both games.
