SHERIDAN, Wyo. — Luciano Conlan of Southern California fired a final-round 68 Thursday to claim medalist honors at the Boys Junior America’s Cup at The Powder Horn. (Results)
Conlan finished at 204. That is 9 shots under par for the three-day tournament, beating teammate Eric Lee by one shot. Lee shot a final-round 69. Boston Bracken of Utah placed third at 207.
Butte’s Jack Prigge finished at 256 after qualifying with a come-from-behind performance last month at the Montana State Junior Championships in Bozeman.
Southern California won the team title at 620, beating second-place Utah by 23 shots. Nevada placed third at 645. Montana tied for 15th with Idaho at 696.
