Slow start dooms Bulldog girls in Great Falls

GREAT FALLS — Great Falls High outscored Butte High 21-3 in the first quarter Saturday, and the Bison completed the season sweep of the Bulldogs with a 76-35 victory.

Nora Klick scored 19 points to pace the Bison, who improved to 12-1 overall and 5-0 in conference. Hannah Collins and Danielle Devilin each scored 12 points for the Bison, who led 34-16 at halftime.

Great Falls outscored the Bulldogs 41-22 after the break.

Ally Cleverly’s eight points led the Bulldogs. Madi Yost and Abby Dodge each scored seven points, while Sam Krzan scored five, Aspen Lovshin netted five and Camille McEwen scored two.

The Bulldogs (1-11, 1-5) are back in action Tuesday when they head to Bozeman for an Eastern AA game.
