Skyview sweeps Butte High in Billings

BILLINGS — Billings Skyview put a damper on the season opener for the Butte High volleyball team Friday night.

The 2014 Class AA State runners up swept Butte High 25-20, 25-16, 25-23 in an Eastern AA match.

Mollie Little pounded 13 kills and two blocks to lead the way as the Falcons improved to 2-1 overall.

Abby Dodge and Mikayla McGivern led Butte High’s game at the net. Dodge tallied seven kills, while Mikayla killed five.

Senior libero Hannah Amtmann had a big game. She collected 29 of Butte High’s 51 digs.

The Bulldogs will stay the night in Billings. They play Billings West at 1 p.m. Saturday.
