Edwards, a 6-foot-5 senior, scored 25 points and grabbed 16 points to lead the Skylights (28-5), who led 30-18 at halftime.
Butte High graduate Natalee Faupel, a true sophomore, added 12 points in the win that sends the Skylights to a second-round game on Friday.
Chanel Roberts scored 18 points to lead Lindsey Wilson, which closes the season at 21-10.
In other first round games involving Frontier Conference teams, the University of Great Falls beat Loyola (Louisiana) 73-54 and Oklahoma City knocked off Lewis-Clark State 63-61.
