Silver B’s inductions set for Friday night

The Butte High Silver B’s are preparing for the 2015 round of inductions set for Friday before the Butte High Bulldogs take on Missoula Sentinel in a Class AA football game at Naranche Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

The Silver B’s honorary is for men who first lettered in football at Butte High 25 years ago.  Fellow inductions for the Golden B’s, first-time letter winners of 50 years ago and Diamond B’s, 75 years ago, are also to be held at the ceremony.  This year will see the inductions of those who first lettered in Butte High football in 1990 for the Silver B’s and in 1965 for the Golden B’s. Mr. George Paul, a 1940 Bulldog letterman will be inducted as the 9th Diamond B. Paul passed away on Aug. 11.

The banquet will be at the Butte High School gymnasium with doors opening at 4 p.m.  The meeting and dinner will be at 5:15 p.m.  Inductees and members will then attend the Butte High game at Naranche Stadium, located next to the high school.  Pregame introductions will be conducted; the kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Banquet tickets are $15 per person and annual dues are $5.  Contact Don Dwyer, 494-1493, or Scott Paffhausen, 490-9956, for reservations.  It is a members-only meeting and banquet.  No guests or alcohol will be allowed.
