Colt Anderson’s Dream Big Foundation will host the second “Dream Big Event” June 27-28 in Butte.
The event includes a gala, a skills camp, a family fun day and live music.
The gala will be held Thursday, June 27 at 6 p.m. at the Copper King Hotel in Butte. The skills competition will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday at Naranche Stadium. The camp is for boys and girls in kindergarten through eighth grade.
The camp will once again include current and former NFL players, including Anderson, as well as other world-class athletes. Registration for the camp opens May 25, and space is limited.
The Family Fun Day runs from noon to 3 p.m. at the Butte Civic Center. The event is for children and adults. It will include a “motivational hour” for the special guests to share their story.
The event will include a rock wall, speed pitch, lightning, super hero pictures, face painting, football throw, hockey shot, soccer kick, autograph station, stage, competitions (tug of war) and an obstacle course. Firemen and police officers will hand out prizes.
Live music with the special guests will conclude the event from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday. The Family Fun Day and music events are free of charge.
