The Butte defenseman scored four goals to lead the way as the Cobras rolled to a 9-1 NA3HL victory over the Yellowstone Quake at the Butte Community Ice Center. (Stats)
After scoring one of Butte’s three goals in the first period, Schleusner scored all three Cobra goals in the second. Butte scored three more goals in the third to take a 9-0 lead before Gustov Ostman got the Quake on the board with a power-play goal with less than 2 minutes left.
Tamer Billman, David Hanny, Noah Williamson, Caelin Chinery and Cade Wessman also scored for the Cobras, who improved to 10-14-2.
Wessman registered four assists, while Nick Bradshaw and Ross Biggerstaff each assisted on two. Braylon Rodgers turned away 34 shots for Butte, which outshot the Quake 73-35.
Yellowstone, which beat Butte 7-4 on Friday, fell to 5-17-2.
The Cobras will play Helena next Friday and Saturday. The teams will meet Friday in Butte before heading to Helena on Saturday.
