Schleeman, Stenson and Moodry land on West Shrine roster

The 77th annual Montana Shrine game is set to take place in Billings on June 15th at 7 pm. The West roster will see 3 Mining City football players take the field.
Butte Highs Kade Schleeman and Kyler Stenson will be joined by Butte Centrals Zane Moodry.

The East Team will be coached by Rob Stanton of Billings West.  Stanton completed his ninth season and led the Bears to the “AA” state championship in 2018.  Stanton’s teams were runner up in 2020 and 2021.  Stanton’s teams have made 9 consecutive quarter final appearances.  Stanton is also the head boys and girl’s track and field coach and led his teams to 9 state championships.  Stanton was elected to the Montana Coaching Hall of Fame in 2020.

Heading the West Team will be Pat Duchien of Florence-Carlton.  Pat graduated from Canby Union High School (OR) and Montana Western.  He began his coaching career in 2012 as an assistant at Florence, becoming the Head Coach in 2017. The Florence Falcons have won State Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023.  He and his wife Christy have two sons: Patrick (2023 Montana Shrine Game) and Brody.
