Women’s college basketball
Dickinson State at Montana Tech, 2 p.m.

The HPER Complex will set the scene as the Orediggers (5-4) get in a final tune up before beginning Frontier Conference play.

Senior Brooke Heggie and sophomore Tavia Rooney lead the Orediggers into action. Heggie averages 13.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, while Rooney is averaging a double-double with 10.9 points and 10.0 boards. Senior Mollie Peoples adds 9.4 points per game to the deep Tech lineup. Junior Dani Urick scores 9.0.

Dickinson comes to town at 0-9 in non-conference play. Senior forward Courtney Olson averages 14.6 points per game to lead the Blue Hawks. Junior guard Kailyn Groves adds 11.2 points per game.

The Orediggers begin conference play Thursday at home against Montana Western.

Men’s college basketball
Montana Tech at College of Idaho, 7 p.m.

The Orediggers (7-2) hit the road looking for their fifth straight victory. That streak includes Tuesday’s 114-66 rout of Yellowstone Christian College.

Three Orediggers average in double figures scoring. Caleb Bellach leads the way with 14.2 points per game. Taylor England adds 13.2 points and 6.4 rebounds, and Sindou Diallo contributes with 12.3 points and 4.0 assists.

Derek Wadsworth scored 23 points to lead the way as the Yotes (6-2) Beat Tech 62-59 Nov. 11 in Butte. Great Falls Freshman Drew Wyman added 14 points in the win.

Tech opens Frontier Conference play Thursday at home against Montana Western.
