No. 2-ranked Stevensville, which beat Class AA power Missoula Hellgate in Missoula last week, is 5-0 in conference play. Jared Schultz averages 14.4 points per game to lead three Yellowjackets in double figures. Big sophomore Jesse Sims adds 12.5 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, while Zach Gavlak scores 12.0. The Maroons (3-2 in conference and 7-4 overall) are trying to bounce back from Thursday’s home loss to Helena High. Brady Tippett scored 15 points in that loss. Marcus Ferriter scored 12. The Yellowjackets beat BC in a 62-61 thriller Dec. 13 in Stevensville. Stevi also beat BC in a white-knuckle semifinal game at divisionals last year.
