Women’s College Basketball
Westminster College at Montana Tech, 5:30 p.m.

Montana Tech’s 6-1 home record will be put to the test Saturday when the No. 5-ranked Westminster Griffins come to town for the Frontier Conference game. The Orediggers are 9-5 overall and 2-0 in conference after Thursday’s win over Montana Western. Mandy Machinal scored 15 points in that win. Laini Kalumbi added 14 points and 10 boards. Guard Nicole Yazzie and forward Cydney Tibbitts both average about 13 points per game for Westminster (13-2, 2-0), which has won five straight.

Men’s College Basketball
Westminster College at Montana Tech, 7:30 p.m.

The Orediggers (9-7, 0-2) are looking for their first Frontier Conference win when they take on No. 7 Westminster (13-2, 1-1). Adam Greger scored 18 points Thursday, but the Orediggers fell at home to Montana Western. Jake Orchard’s 13.8 points per game leads the Griffins, who fell 80-75 at Lewis-Clark State on Thursday.

Prep Boys’ Basketball
Butte High at Great Falls Russell, 4:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs (2-4 overall) look to go to 2-0 in Eastern AA play as they hit the road to take on the Rustlers. Dallas Cook, who leads the Class AA in rebounding, scored 21 points Thursday as the Bulldogs beat Great Falls High. The Rustlers are 5-1 and 1-0 after Thursday’s 52-35 home win over Helena High. Junior guard Joey Marzion scored 19 points in the win.

Butte Central at Livingston, 4 p.m.
The Maroons (4-3) will try to bounce back from Thursday’s home loss to Dillon with a non-conference road game. Nate Bolstad is coming off back-to-back games with 20 and 18 points to lead the Maroons. Marcus Payne averages 17.5 points per game to lead the 1-5 Rangers.

Prep Girls’ Basketball
Great Falls Russell at Butte High, 4:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs (4-2, 0-1) return home after Thursday’s overtime loss at Great Falls High when they take on the Rustlers (3-3, 1-0) at the Richardson Gym. CMR is coming off a double-overtime win at Helena High. Taylor Edwards led the Rustlers with 13 points in the win. Hailey Hoagland scored 15 oints to lead the Bulldogs Thursday. Natalee Faupel, who grabbed 12 rebounds, and Sammy McGree each scored 14.

Livingston at Butte Central, 4 p.m.
The Maroons (6-1) are back at home after Friday’s Southwestern A win at Dillon. Megan Schoenen averages 12.5 points per game to lead the 1-3 Rangers.

Prep Swimming
Butte High at Bozeman, noon

Butte High gets back in the pool for the first time in three weeks Saturday. In their last action, the Bulldog teams combined for a fifth-place showing at the Great Falls Invitational Dec. 15.
