Saints top Tech men

HELENA — Dane Warp and Matt Wyman combined for 41 points to lead the way as No. 3 Carroll College knocked off Montana Tech 76-68 Saturday night in a Frontier Conference men’s basketball game at the P.E. Center. (Stats)

Warp shot 7 for 10 from the field and scored 21 points, while Wyman hit 12 of 14 free throws to score 20. Wyman also pulled down 12 rebounds for Carroll, which led31-24 at halftime.

Ife Kaejaive added 12 points for Carroll, which improved to 14-1 overall and 3-0 in league play. Match Bernham chipped in with 11 points and seven boards.

Taylor England scored 16 points in his hometown to lead the Orediggers (11-3, 1-2). Nate Ward, Troy Owens Jr. and Dylan Pannabecker each scored nine points for Tech. Drew Huse tossed in eight, and Nick Fitts and Carson Dummer each scored two.

The Orediggers are back in action next Saturday when they play host to Rocky Mountain College.
