Saints play at home, Bears hit the road

Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College will represent the Frontier Conference in the 2013 NAIA Football Championship Series.

The pairings were announced today.

Carroll, the Frontier Conference champion, will play host to Georgetown of Kentucky Saturday at Nelson Stadium in Helena.

Rocky will travel to Morningside in Iowa. That’s where Montana Tech lost in the first round last year’s playoffs.

Carroll, a six-time NAIA national champion, is 15-5 all time in the first round of the playoffs. That includes wins in the Saints’ last 12 first-round games.

Rocky is making its first playoff appearance this century.
