HELENA — Jovan Sljivancanin scored 22 points, and Carroll College knocked off MSU-Northern 71-63 Friday night at the P.E. Center. (Stats)
The victory sends Carroll to the Frontier Conference championship game. The Saints (28-3) will host Montana Tech at 7 p.m. Monday.
Brendan Temple added 16 points for Carroll, which led 34-25 at the half. Garrett Long scored 10. Sljivancanin added nine rebounds and four assists.
Mascio McCadney tossed in 28 points to lead Northern, which ends the season at 19-13. David Harris added 10.
Montana Tech and Carroll College tied for the Frontier Conference regular-season title. Carroll took the top seed by winning two out of three against the Orediggers.
Tech won in Butte, while Carroll took the two games in Helena.
The Orediggers beat Montana Western 70-68 in the other semifinal game Friday in Butte.
