HAVRE —Carroll College used a 21-point third quarter to put away MSU-Northern Friday night, rolling to a 31-6 win over the Lights in the first Frontier Conference football game of 2012.
Chance Demarais rushed for 142 yards and scored on runs of 20 and 3 yards to lead the Saints. Dakota Stonehouse only passed for 63 yards, but the new Saints quarterback tossed a pair of touchdowns in the win. He hit Dylan Simac and Sean Blomquist four scoring strikes.
