MESA, Ariz. — Butte High senior Trevyn Roth clearly took advantage of his chance to showcase his talent this weekend.

Roth, who signed to play soccer at Colorado Mesa in late February, was one of 13 Montana boys to make up the Blitzz FC team that won the Boys U19 Showcase Gold division of the Mesa Showcase. (Results)

The Montana boys went through the bracket with a 3-1 record. They only surrendered one goal.

Roth played center back for the Montana team. That is the same position he was recruited to play at Colorado Mesa.
