Rocky’s Keller, Western’s Woolley to lead Montana all-stars

BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College women’s basketball coach Wes Keller will coach this year’s Midland Roundtable Montana girls’ all-star basketball team that will take on the Wyoming all-stars Friday and Saturday.

Miles City’s Alecia Chamberlain, who will play for Keller, is one of three Class A players on the roster. The other two are Hamilton’s Taylor Goligoski and Jaylee Albert, who led the Broncs to the state title.

The lone Class C participant is Hannah Dean, who led the Gardiner Bruins to the state title.

Manhattan’s Brooke Jones, Colstrip’s Brina Hull and Fairfield’s Liz Klinker will represent Class B.

Three Class AA participants are on the team: McKenzie Johnston, from state champion Helena Capital, Madisyn Shaide of Missoula Big Sky and Taylor Edwards of Great Falls CMR.

Lindsay Woolley, women’s head basketball coach at Montana Western and Rocky Mountain College’s Jeff Malby will assist Keller.

Friday’s game will be played at Sheridan College in Sheridan, Wyoming, while Saturday’s contest will be played at Rocky. Both games begin at 5:30 p.m. The Montana and Wyoming boys’ all-star teams will take the court following the girls.
