CALDWELL, Idaho — Rocky Mountain College’s women’s basketball team completed the College of Idaho Tournament with a 2-0 record.
The Battlin’ Bears wrapped up the perfect weekend Saturday afternoon with 53-49 non-conference win over Eastern Oregon at the J.A. Albertson Center. (Stats)
N’Dea Flye scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebound to lead the Bears. Butte Central graduate Kloie Thatcher tossed in 16 points and dropped four assists. MacKenize Dethman scored 14 points.
Rocky trailed 26-17 at halftime, and the Bears took the lead with a 20-10 run in the third quarter.
Taylor Stricklin’s 15 points and eight rebounds led the Mountaineers. Sailor Liefke added 11.
The Battlin’ Bears open Frontier Conference play Thursday against the University of Providence in Great Falls. The Bears play host to Montana Tech next Saturday.
