Rocky wins at Southern Oregon

GRANT PASS, Ore. — Look out for the Battlin’ Bears.

Rocky Mountain College put the NAIA on notice Saturday afternoon, beating No. 14 Southern Oregon 35-30. The Raiders are coming off an appearance in the NAIA quarterfinals.

Bryce Baker passed for 517 yards and three touchdowns as Rocky improved to 2-0 on the season. The game was the Frontier Conference opener for both sides.

Andrew McCullouch caught eight passes for 177 yards and a touchdown.  Isaac McCreery and Jade Olson also caught TDs for the Bears.

Austin Dodge passed for 386 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
