BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College announced today that it will reinstate head women’s basketball coach Wes Keller.
The coach will resume his duties immediately.
“We have complete confidence that Coach Keller is the right leader for our women’s basketball program,” Rocky president Bob Wilmouth said in a statement.
Keller had been on administrative leave after internal conflict on the team led to the Battlin’ Bears forfeiting games at Montana Western Feb. 6-7. Several members of Rocky team have not played since as a show of support for their coach.
Rocky will close the regular season at home Saturday and Sunday against the University of Providence. At 1-9 overall and 1-7 in league play, the Battlin’ Bears will head to the Frontier Conference playoffs as the No. 6 seed.
