Rocky Mountain women roll winning streak to 12

BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College’s women’s basketball team led almost all night Thursday, and the Battlin’ Bears knocked off MSU-Northern 76-63 at the Fortin Center. (Stats)

N’Dea Flye scored 34 points to lead the Bears, who improved to 14-1 overall and 3-0 in Frontier Conference play. She also grabbed five boards, dished seven assists and collected a pair of steals.

Butte Central graduate Kloie Thatcher added 12 points for the Bears, who ran their winning streak to 2 games. Thatcher’s night included four assists and a steal. Adonica Baca-Martinez also scored 12 points for Rocky.

Ryley Kehr’s 22 points led the Skylights (7-10, 0-3). Peyton Kehr scored 12.

Rocky will head to Helena for a showdown with Carroll College on Saturday. The Skylights will head to Dillon to battle Montana Western.
