Rocky Mountain men land junior college prospect

BILLINGS — Rocky Mountain College men’s head basketball coach Bill Dreikosen announced today the signing of junior college transfer Raoul Harley to a Frontier Conference letter of intent. He will join the Battlin’ Bears this fall.

Harley, a 6-foot-5 forward who heads to Rocky Mountain College from Diablo Valley College (Pleasant Hill, California), will have two years of eligibility remaining.

This past season, Harley, averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds a game in helping lead the Vikings to a 19-11 overall record. For his efforts he was named First Team All-Big 8 Conference.

Harley brings a 3.0 GPA to Rocky and plans to major in business.

“Raoul will bring much needed length and athleticism to our team,” Dreikosen said. “He has an excellent ability to rebound the ball at a high level. We also like the fact that Raoul is 23 years old and brings a lot of game experience.”
