ST. LOUIS — Butte native Rob Johnson didn’t get to bat in the St. Louis Cardinals 13-4 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers Wednesday night at Busch Stadium.
The catcher, though, did register a strike out.
At the end of the lopsided loss, Johnson pitched to one batter in the ninth inning. He struck out Dodgers relief pitcher Paco Rodriguez looking to end the top of the ninth inning.
Johnson also made a pitching performance as a member of the New York Mets last season.
