LAUREL — Add two more state championships to Rileigh McGree’s résumé.

One day after keeping the “McGree Streak” alive in the long jump, the Butte Central junior ran to victories in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles Saturday at the Class A State meet at the Laurel Sports Complex. (Results)

McGree won the 100 hurdles with a time of 15.74 seconds. Dillon junior Ainsley Shipman placed second in 16.38.

In the 300 hurdles, McGree posted a personal-best time of 46.09 seconds. Whitefish’s Hailey Ells took second in 46.15.

On Friday, McGree extended her family’s run in the long jump to five in a row. Her sister Rachael won it in 2016 and 2017. Her sister Lindsay won in 2018 and 2019. She will try to make it six next year when Butte hosts the State A meet.

Freshman Ella Moodry, who won the javelin on Friday, placed seventh in the 100 for the Maroons, who finished seventh in team standings with 40 points. Laurel won with 97 points. Whitefish scored 76.5 for second, and Columbia Falls took third at 54.

Dillon placed fifth at 41.5. Shipman won the triple jump. She also took second in the long jump and placed sixth in the high jump.

Hamilton’s boys won with 87 points. Dillon took second at 61, while Harden finished third at 53. Butte Central did not score any team points.
