BROOKINGS, S.D. — Montana Tech senior Becca Richtman opened the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships Thursday.
Richtman qualified fourth in the 5,000-meter run, completing the race in 17 minutes, 22 seconds. She will also run the preliminary races in the 3,000 and mile on Friday. The finals for all three events is Saturday.
Tech’s Hailey Nielson will also run the preliminary race of the 3,000 Friday. Oredigger Natylia Jacobson will run Friday’s 60-meter prelim.
