Redbirds top Isotopes in 10

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Brock Peterson hit a two-run home run in the 10th inning Thursday night to lift the home-standing Memphis Redbirds to a 5-3 Pacific Coast League win over the Albuquerque Isotopes.

The game was the start of a four-game series between the teams that had a high-profile bench-clearing brawl less than two weeks ago.

Butte native Rob Johnson hit an RBI single in the second inning to put the Redbirds up 1-0. The catcher went 1 for 4 and is now hitting .231 on the season.
