Rangers turn back BC girls

LIVINGSTON — Kodie Vondra poured in 21 points to lead the way Tuesday night, and Livingston knocked off Butte Central 48-35 in a non-conference girls’ basketball game.

The Rangers overcame a 14-8 deficit in the first quarter by outscoring the Maroons 27-8 over the middle two quarters.

Skylar Higgs scored nine points for Livingston, which improved to 4-8 with the upset win. Rainna Floyd tossed in eight.

Brooke Badovinac came off the bench to score 10 of her team-leading 14 points in the second half for the Maroons (10-3). Sofee Thatcher scored 10 points.

BC also got six points from Delaney Hasquet, three from Maddie Kump and two from Amira Bolton.

Central will jump back into Western A play Friday when they hit the road for key showdown with Hamilton.
