Race kicks off second day of An Ri Ra

The annual An Ri Ra Fun Ran took place Saturday morning in Butte.

Butte Central student Conor McGee won the 10-kilometer race, which started below the I-15 bridge on the Whiskey Gulch walking trail and finished at the Chamber of Commerce.

McGee finished the race in 39 minutes, 3.80 seconds to edge Don Foley, who placed second in 39:05.44. Jeremy Radakovich was third at 43:03.40.

Charissa Bisch won the women’s overall title in 47:46.60. Robin Bridgewater was second at 51:11.53.

Ben Gibson, a 16-year-old runner, won the 5-K title in 21:12.57. Adam O’Reilly, 17, was second at 21:16.80.

Butte High runner Cati Carmody, 15, won the women’s title in 21:54.42. She was third overall. Ann Monaghan was second among women at 24:45.48.

Karson Klapan, 10, won the 1-mile race in 7:47.89. Sean Foley, 12, placed a close second at 7:52.88.

Brenna Foley, 10, won the female 1-mile race in 9:41.04. Kendra Klapan, 11, placed second at 10:01.09.
