Providence puts up 100 in win over Bulldog men

GREAT FALLS — The University of Providence jumped out to a 57-38 lead and held on for a 100-85 Frontier Conference win over the Montana Western men’s basketball team Saturday night at the McLaughlin Center. (Stats)

Jaxen Hashley scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the No. 11 Argos. Brandon Cotton and Zaccheus Darko-Kelly each scored 21 points. Darko-Kelly added 11 rebounds and 11 assists.

Providence also got 12 points from Dawson Fowler and 11 from Rashee Stocks.

Cedric Boone scored 23 points, and James Jones scored 20 to lead the Bulldogs. Jones handed out seven assists.

Western also got 14 points from Carter Kearns and 10 from Tanner Haverfield.
