Providence pulls away from Oredigger men

GREAT FALLS — The University of Providence knocked off Montana Tech’s men’s basketball team for the third time this season.

Marcus Stephens scored 21 points, and Rashee Stocks tossed in 20 Saturday in a 99-80 Frontier Conference win over the Orediggers in the McLaughlin Center. (Stats)

Zaccheus Darko-Kelly dropped 18 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists for the Argos, who led 44-38 at halftime.

Sindou Diallo scored 16 points to lead four Orediggers in double figures scoring. Markieth Brown Jr. added 14 points, Drew Huse tossed in 13, and Taylor England scored 11 points to go along with six rebounds.

The Orediggers and Argos will play again Sunday afternoon in Great Falls.
