September 24, 2012, 9:21 amFirst my non-biased poll and then why the Bulldogs are not getting respect of voters.
1.Butte- had them 2nd last wk Bozeman lost they won.
2.CMR- since QB change a different team.
3.Helena Capital- still Champs, still a formidable team.
4.Glacier- desptie stumbling knocked of Bozeman on the road.
5.Helena and Bozeman tied
Two reasons Butte was rankked only 5th and might only be 3rd or 4th in this weeks “official” poll…
1. Their defense is not good. Believe the defense is better than given credit, their offense scores so quickly and is always in hurry up the opposing team will always probably have more TOP.
2. The voters vote according to traditional power say within the last 10 yrs. Capital, West, CMR get more respect by default, Butte hasn’t been a power since the late 80s, 90s so they assume they will fade either to 7th or 8th or out of playoff picture.
