Polson boys, Park girls win shortened BCHS Invite

DILLON — The Polson boys and Park High girls from Livingston took home victories Tuesday at the Beaverhead County High School Invitational at the Beaverhead Golf.

The tournament only scored nine holes because of weather.

Polson’s boys won with a 161, beathing Hamilton by three shots. Livingston took third at 165.

Heath Jackson of Hamilton matched par with a 36 to win medalist honors. Polson’s Hunter Hupka placed second at 37, and Livingston’s Danyk Jacobson took third at 39.

Butte High freshman Kade Corcoran led Butte High’s junior varsity team. He shot a 44 to place one shot out of the top 10. Wyatt Blakely hit a 59 for Butte.

Randy Larson led Butte Central with a 50. Sam Henderson hit 55, and Nick Lester shot a 67.

Livingston’s girls won with a 201, beating second-place Polson by three.

Kate Lewis of Frenchtown fired a 40 to take home the individual crown. Kylee Siefert and Ashley Maki of Polson tied for second at 46.

Dylan Bartoletti hit a 64 for Butte High’s JV. Kendyllen Lean carded a 65.
