Bakken is a 6-foot-4, 195-pound senior quarterback from Wibaux. In No. 12 Rocky Mountain College’s 48-10 home win over No. 24 Eastern Oregon, Bakken was 29 of 35 passing for 423 yards, five touchdowns and one interception.

Defensive Player of the Week: Tristen Alesi, College of Idaho
Alesi is a 6-foot, 185-pound junior defensive back from San Diego, California. In (RV) College of Idaho’s 17-14 upset road conference win over No. 20 Montana Western, Alesi recorded two solo tackles, one for loss (-1), four assisted tackles, two pass breakups, one forced fumble and one interception. His forced fumble ended a Western drive in the red zone.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Kyle Mitchell of College of Idaho
Mitchell is a 6-2, 175-pound junior kicker from Herriman, Utah. In (RV) College of Idaho’s 17-14 upset road conference win over No. 20 Montana Western, Mitchell was 2 of 2 for extra points and kicked a school record 45-yard field goal. He also had four touchbacks on all of his kickoffs.

Women’s Player of the Week: Jossilyn Blackman of Lewis-Clark State
Blackman is a 6-foot senior forward from Brush Prairie, Wash. Lewis-Clark went 1-0 for the week with a 68-58 victory over Whitman College. Whitman is ranked 7th in NCAA, Division II. Blackman scored 21 points, pulled down nine rebounds and had one assist. She was 8 of 9 from the field (89 percent) and 5 of 6 from the free throw line.

Men’s Player of the Week: Match Burnham of Carroll College
Burnham is a 6-8 senior forward from Spangle, Washington. The Saints went 2-0 for the week, beating Dickinson State 89-77 and Warner Pacific (Ore.) 75-66. Burnham averaged 23 points, seven rebounds and one steal per game. He was 15 of 13 from the field and 13 of 14 from the free throw line.
