THREE FORKS — Gallatin Valley swept a Southern A American Legion doubleheader with the Butte Miners Tuesday night.
The Outlaws won the opener 1-0 before completing the sweep with a 14-4 win in the nightcap.
The Miners, who fell to 11-9 in conference play, will head to the Keith Sell Invitational Wednesday. They open the five-day tournament against Bitterroot at 12:30 p.m. They play Glacier at 3.
Butte will play Calgary at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Singles by Egan Lester and Aidan Lee were all the Miners could muster in the opener.
The bats were not enough to back up another strong performance on the bump by Ryan Wahl. The Butte ace fanned seven and walked none in the hard-luck loss.
Full names for the Gallatin Valley players are not available.

A nine-run fourth inning put the game away for the Outlaws in Game 2. The game was called by the 10-run rule after five innings.
Peyton Hettick went 3 for 3 with a triple and two runs scored to lead the Miners six-hit attack. Lester, Scout Allen and Coy Stajcar singled.
Hettick and Kenley Leary pitched for the Miners.
