THREE FORKS — The Gallatin Valley Outlaws held off the Butte Muckers 3-2 in a Southern A Conference game Monday night.
Jared Pruett scattered five hits over the nine scheduled innings to lead the Outlaws to the victory.
Bryce Murphy drove in two runs, while Brock Bitterman, Billy Mourer and Noah Young each hit a double to lead the offensive attack.
Will Hoagland, Tommy Martz, Alex Kober, Bryson Henningsen and Ryan Schultz singled for the Miners. Austin Gerry drove in a run. Trey Berger and Cameron Johnson each pitched four solid innings in the loss.
The Muckers are back in action Wednesday when they play host to the Anaconda A’s in a 3 p.m. doubleheader at Copper Mountain Park.
