Orediggers win the Tilt with the Lancers of Grace College

BUTTE, Mont.- Make it four in a row, as the Orediggers win the tilt with the Lancers of Grace College, 57-53. One night after getting eleven players in the scoring column against Briercrest, Montana Tech gets points from ten different players. Tech was led by Ally Cleverly, who put up a career-high 19 points. Ally also added seven rebounds in her 28 minutes of play.

The Orediggers dominated the glass for the entire 40 minutes, outrebounding the Lancers 45-21. Montana Tech pulled down 18 offensive rebounds, which led to 26 second-chance points.

This was a complete ‘Team-Win’ for Montana Tech (6-2), with 10 players scoring- beyond Cleverly’s 19- Challis Westwater tallied seven, Soda Rice and Brooklyn Hankwitz each put down six.

Not only did the entire team contribute scoring, but they all crashed the boards as well. Ten different Orediggers grabbed rebounds, with Kia Wassonleading the way with eight, Soda Rice and Ally Cleverly each grabbing seven rebounds apiece.

The Orediggers shot 37% for the game.

Grace College (4-7) had two ladies get into double digits scoring, with Kensie Ryman out in front with 11 points., followed by Kaylee Patton with 10.
