Orediggers stay at No. 7

Montana Tech’s 43-7 win over Montana Western Saturday at Alumni Coliseum wasn’t impressive enough to raters to move the Orediggers up in the NAIA Football Coaches’ Top 25 Poll.

The Orediggers remained at No. 7 heading into the regular-season finale against Southern Oregon in Ashland, Ore.

Georgetown of Kentucky is the new No. 1. Previous No. 1 Marian of Indiana suffered its first loss of the season and fell to No. 5.

Southern Oregon improved from No. 14 to a tie Baker of Kansas at No. 12.

After losing at Rocky Mountain College, Carroll College fell six spots to No. 22. That marks the first time the Saints aren’t ranked in the Top 20 since November 2000.
