DILLON — The wins keep coming for the Montana Tech volleyball team.
The Orediggers won for the fourth straight time and for the seventh time in eight matches Thursday night, sweeping Montana Western 25-21, 25-20, 25-19 in a Frontier Conference match at the Straugh Gymnasium.
Montana Tech, who started the conference season with a 1-6 slide, moved over the .500 in league play at 8-7. The Orediggers are 18-9 overall.
Three Orediggers tallied double digits in kills to lead the way Thursday.
Korey Krumm, the reigning Frontier Conference Player of the Week, notched 13 kills, while Shersteen Kline killed 11. Sydney Norris added 10 kill to go along with 10 digs.
Alison Lunde dished out 32 assists in the win, and digging machine Kimmy Kavran added 27 digs to her single-season school record in that category.
Brea Mitchell’s 13 kills paced Western, which fell to 5-10 and 10-17.
The Orediggers head to Salt Lake City to close out the Frontier season at Westminster College on Saturday. The Frontier Conference tournament is next weekend in Butte.
