Orediggers roll to 2-1 at Biola Summer Slam

LA MIRADA, Calif. — Montana Tech’s volleyball team made short work of Menlo College today to roll its record to 2-1 at the Biola Summer Slam.

The Orediggers won 25-20, 25-15, 25-23 in the game played on the campus of Biola University. Box score

Haley Druyvestein’s eight kills led Tech’s balanced attack in the victory. Sydney Norris added seven kills for the Orediggers, who got six kills frm Jordan Danz and four apiece from Katie Wiley, Bailie Cortner and Kylee Berridge. Also, Mariah Cooney killed three.

Mackenzie Bauk dished up 22 assists. Tori Chelini served up 10 assists, and Angie Pancost collected a team-high 10 digs.

Maddie Clegg’s nine kills paced Menlo.

The Orediggers close out the tournament tonight when they take on The Master’s College, which received votes in the latest poll. That match is scheduled to start at 9.
